Becoming involved in the life of young adults at Christian Life Community Church is very much like any other relationship…it takes time, hard work, and devotion. We begin by checking each other out, move to the awkward ‘hi, hello, my name is…’ stage that frightens the willies out of most people, followed by the ‘hey, we should hang out’ stage. Then, after spending enough quantity time together we just might be fortunate to move to some quality time together making and sharing memories that last a lifetime. This requires that you and I and we all step out of the warm comfy confines of our individual life into the messy and scary open spaces of life in community. This, as you very likely know, is risky business.
Sunday morning services are an important gathering of our church family, however, CLCC happens throughout the week in venues scattered all around the city on every single morning, afternoon, and evening involving hundreds and hundreds of people. Explore the links on this page to learn about the many ways you can participate in the life and mission of Christian Life Community Church. For week-to-week young adult events and updates be sure check out our calendar page. Beyond our Sunday services, CLCC joins together in smaller Community Groups that are young adult specific to study and dialogue Scripture, BBQ together, and live shared lives of mission and worship. Whether you’ve been a lifer at CLCC or are brand new we would love to have you join into one of our community groups. Additionally, if you are looking for a more multi-generational small group, check out our churches Common Cause Groups.
Also, there are many opportunities for you to volunteer in ministry at CLCC. We believe that each person is gifted and able to share in the life of ministry somewhere whether in young adult ministry, UFV outreach, childrens ministry, youth ministry, music, tech or any other area. We would encourage you to explore where and how you can be used in our churches mission in Abbotsford helping to transform lives for the cause of Jesus.
In addition, for those in need of pastoral counseling or guidance through the difficulties of life, CLCC offers individual and couple counsel either pastorally or with the assistance of professional clinical counselors. Please contact any of the pastors or staff for more information.
As a church we rely first on the Jesus to help the work of our hands and then on each other; individuals banded together in the common goal of bringing glory to God and sacrificially serving in His mission here on earth. Our prayer is that you would join with us in faithful humble service to our King and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Grace and Peace,
-Jer
